Happy Holidays from Gaines Park!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we’re enjoying it with friends and family at Gaines Park Senior Living, a personal care home in Kennesaw, GA. Stone Mountain Christmas:
Come visit the “world’s largest Christmas light show” at Stone Mountain Park, packed with plenty of songs, tons of cheer, and ending with a fireworks display and flying snow angel! Stay for the Christmas parade, musical frosted forest, holiday shopping and many more exciting attractions. Stone Mountain is fun for the whole family.
Lakeside Lights Spectacular at Lake Lanier:
A new feature at Lake Lanier Islands, this holiday display features a walkable holiday lights tour set to holiday tunes. You can stroll through the dazzling light display while enjoying hot cocoa or a cocktail, and even visit Santa. Lakeside Lights Spectacular runs nightly through January 5. The show will then switch to weekend-only nights until February 27. Senior discounted tickets are available for $14.99.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Garden Lights, Holiday Nights:
Voted best holiday event in 2020 by AJC readers, this year’s festive light installation in the garden will include favorites from last year in addition to new light installations. You’ll be in awe of the colorful glowing grove along the flower walk, oversized flowers leading to the ice goddess, and several lighted sculptures from the 2021 summer exhibition SUPERnatural: Glass Art by Jason Gamrath. Tickets are sold by date and are timed to reduce capacity.
